• ScreenDim: Dim your display below what the OS normally allows. No root required! [Android Market]

• Force2SD: Requires a rooted device with Android 2.2 or higher. This lets you move many applications to SD/external storage, even when the OS normally will refuse to move these applications. [Android Market]
• RootDim (formerly SuperDim): Requires a rooted device. This lets you dim the backlight below what the OS normally allows, and stores brightness profiles, including ChainFire3D/CyanogenMod nightmode settings in them. [Android Market]
• AstroRender: This is a quick proof-of-context app that draws 40,000 stars (up to magnitude 8) and lets you rotate and zoom. [Android Market]

• FontSmoother (hi-res PalmOS 5, including Clie NX, LifeDrive, TX, Treo 650+, Centro, etc.): Use elegant, clear and smooth fonts on your PalmOS PDA or phone. Includes dozens of free font packages, in various sizes (some smaller than the standard fonts, some the same size, and some bigger), and including Android fonts, as well as Cyrillic and Polish. • myKbd (T3, T5, LifeDrive and TX): Use an optimized hexagonal-key ATOMIK or Metropolis (or a nice QWERTY) keyboard in your input area, with punctuation characters, macros and accents accessible. Or load a variety of different skins in the input area, recolor skins and status bars, etc. myKbd does everything mySkin does, plus has the support for hexagonal keys (a discounted upgrade is available for mySkin users). Many applications can even be launched on top of another application, with the first application remaining in memory (very useful for popping up the Tasks or Calendar on top of the web browser!). • Accenter (hi-res PalmOS 5, including Clie NX, LifeDrive, TX, Treo 650+, Centro, etc.): Enter accented characters for European languages very quickly. For instance, on devices with a directional navigator (e.g., Treo and Centro), in French mode if you press 'e', you get a semi-transparent display showing 'ê', 'è', 'é', and 'ë', which you can choose with a press of a directional navigator key (or with a screen tap). If you just want a plain 'e', you can ignore the display and keep on typing as if it never showed up.
