FitalySkinLoad is designed to work on the Palm T3, T5, LifeDrive and TX.

USE AT YOUR OWN RISK ONLY!

FitalySkinLoad is freeware, but may not be distributed
without the explicit permission of Alexander R. Pruss.

The included Fitaly skin may only be used in conjunction with
FitalyVirtual software from Textware Solutions
(http://www.fitaly.com/product/fitalyvirtualt3.htm)
and allows you to use Fitaly AT YOUR OWN RISK with devices
like the Palm TX that are not supported by Textware Solutions.

Fitaly has been discontinued for Palm OS. However, a lot of
users would like to use it on the Palm TX. Fortunately the
T3/T5/LifeDrive version of FitalyVirtual works fine on the
Palm TX, except it is unable to display the "skin", i.e.,
the Fitaly keyboard. FitalySkinLoad remedies this problem
and thereby allows you to use FitalyVirtual on the TX.
FitalySkinLoad is unsupported software and Fitaly is not
supported on the Palm TX. Alexander Pruss is, however,
interested in bug reports for FitalySkinLoad (only).

Simply use the Palm LifeDrive version of Textware Solutions'
FitalyVirtual but do NOT install any skin files included
with FitalyVirtual and do NOT use FitalySetup's option to
install the skin (all you need to install is FitalyVirtualT3.prc
and FVSetupT3.prc). Instead, hotsync FitalySkinLoad.prc,
run FitalySkinLoad and tap on "Set Fitaly skin".
And then enable Fitaly (but not the skin) in FitalySetup.
To uninstall, tap on "Set system skin".

If you are a mySkin user, you can install the skin by using
mySkin. After you install FitalySkinLoad (no need to run or set
the skin) it will generate a skin labeled "Fitaly Skin"
which you can load or merge with mySkin. You can then delete
"FitalySkinLoad" (but not the skin).

If you like FitalySkinLoad, you will love mySkin, a more general
skin loader that lets you load, recolor, manage, mix and match
input area skins (dozens of free ones are available), including
elements from the included Fitaly skin.

If you care about how your PDA looks, you will want FontSmoother,
which lets you use smooth (antialiased) fonts on your PalmOS 5
hi-res device. It comes with lots of free fonts, and you can convert
Windows TrueType fonts to FontSmoother format with an included
converter. Moreover, FontSmoother seems to be more stable on
newer Palm devices (e.g., LifeDrive or TX) than other font chooser
programs, even though it is the only PalmOS font chooser that supports
smooth fonts. (And if you like another font chooser, you can use
it in conjunction with FontSmoother to manage smooth fonts.)

As a special bonus, FitalySkinLoad also solves disappearing input
area problems. Occasionally when my users have installed a piece of
software designed for the T3, they have inadvertently installed T3
compatibility libraries that cause their input area to disappear.
To restore the input area, it's enough to simply hotsync and run
FitalySkinLoad. (It will force a reset if necessary.)
